Eli Damaskinos walked into the laboratory, eyeing his new, guest, that laid on one of the surgical tables. The vampire mutation was strapped down and had been given several doses of tranquilizers, just to be safe.
But now it was time for the drugs to wear off, and Damaskinos was interested in seeing what kind of man was going to aid in the survival of Eli's kind.

Continued from Desecrated Chapel.
The noises around him were small, but definite, mainly the mumblings of men, a few of the voices he recognized, as they had emitted cries of pain when he attacked them.
Eyes flashing open and waning into a dark crimson shade, Michael Morbius took in his surroundings, before his eyes settled on a rather bizarre man, a vampire, by his scent. His skin seemed to be made of marble.
"Who are you?" Morbius growled softly. He had been tempted to say, "Who are you and how fast would you die from a torn out throat?" but he held his tongue, not knowing the individual, therefore not sure how he'd react to the threat.

Eli offered a dry, forced smile as he walked over to the vampire mutation. "Glad you could join us," he said, his old voice hoarse and dry. "As for who I am, that is no concern of yours."

"No, by all means, please inform me," Morbius remarked coldly, his fangs elongating. "I want to know so I can carve the name in stone with one of your rib bones."

A hoarse chuckle emerged from Damaskins' throat as he reached the table. His hand shot out, gripping the vampire mutation's throat with much more strength than his frail body seemed able to possess.
"If you are trying to intimidate me, wait until you have lived at least one millennium to do so," Eli whispered calmly. "And until then, threats are wastes of breath on your part," he stated, his grip tightening briefly before releasing him.

Morbis growled softly, eyes flashing with fury at this vampire, who was coming off as nothing but an egotistical prick.
His eyes glanced around the room, before settling on one of the soldiers, who stood behind the arrogant vampire.
Growling briefly, Morbius' eyes flooded red as he called on his hypnosis. He had barely used, and only when he fed, but he decided now was a good place to test it.
Attack him...strike him from behind...strike him down...
The soldier shook his helmet-clad head, trying to fight it off apparently, before, with a yell, he charged the elder vampire, pulled out and ready to be planted in the leech's side.

Damaskinos reached back, grabbing the tazer aimed for him. He yanked it forward until the solider had stumbled in front of him. Snapping his neck without hesition, Eli then turned from the vampire mutation.
"Get out," he ordered to the other soldiers. The vampire mutations powers were almost fully back, which meant humans were a problem. He then turned to one of his scientists, nodding. "Do give him something to help him relax."

Morbius snarled at that, and lunged, bellowing when the shackles held him back, and then he felt something piercing his neck, and his vision began to falter. This drug, whatever it was, was stronger than the darts he had been shot with at the chapel. Probably a larger dose.
"I'll kill you," he snarled loudly, before he slumped, losing consciousness.

Damaskinos smirked, the expression dry and cold, as he looked over to the mutation. "Get in line." The vampire overlord looked to the scientists. "Make sure he doesn't wake up for the rest of the day. Get your test samples now," he instructed before walking out of the lab. Kounen was waiting for him outside the door, his expression stern.
"Relax. Things are going well. Any news from the Daywalker?" he asked, heading towards his chambers.
"None since the incident at the club. Nomak is still loose," Kounen reminded the vampire overlord, who merely shrugged him off. "May I remind you, while he doesn't know this location, the longer he's out, the mroe chance he has of finding his way back here?"
"You worry too much," Eli replied calmly. "Now leave me, I wish to rest."
Kounen reluctantly nodded before turning and walking off to take care of things, as he always did, while Damaskinos made his way back to his chambers. The use of his strength had, sadly, caused him slight fatigue, and he needed to rest.
Continued in Overlord Damskinos' Chambers.
